14mm CANON FD Optex 14mm – high-quality, fast PL-mounted ultra-wide angle lens with a large aperture of T2.8. This lens has 114° diagonal angle of view, which is one of the widest, except fisheye lenses. The ground and polished aspherical glass lens surface with the highest aspheric degree, which is famous in the optics history, is used on the front side of the second lens element to achieve super high image quality. The compact optical system including an aspherical lens element thoroughly corrects aberrations. The floating mechanism achieves sharp definition even at close focusing distance.
